Hello, Y'all--I am very new at this game. Have a new NEC monitor (MultiSync 77F) that simply went blank, when I was looking up a word in Roget's I Thesaurus. Control-Alt-Delete seemed to strain the computer, so I shut the whole thing down and started up a few minutes later. Everything is o.k. now, but I want to know why the monitor failed me. There was no local power outage, and I have a surge protector. Thank you.
